We are a boutique event planning and design company passionate about creating fresh, fun, and beautiful weddings. We take only a handful of events each season to ensure the highest level of attention to detail is dedicated to your wedding.
As the founder and president of Bird Dog Wedding, I have been producing events for over seven years. I have always been inspired by the exciting, fun, and beautiful. This, combined with a high level of organization, led me to event design and planning. I am passionate about creating fresh, fun, detailed events from scratch, which embrace each couple!
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with smart, creative, and trusting couples - bringing their vision to reality on one of the best and most important days of their lives!
Previously, I pursued a BA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. From there, I worked as an educational consultant where I managed several projects and dealt with various clients, much like today.
You will find my work on Martha Stewart Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings, and 100 Layer Cake to name a few.
On my down time, you will find me in Austin, hanging with my husband and son!
I am a planner for Bird Dog Wedding, and I love working with couples to help them imagine, design and execute their perfect day. I come from a background in entertainment production - producing large scale events, photo + video shoots, and I thrive in that sweet spot between logistics and creativity. I am always inspired by people’s love stories, and feel honored to help create a wedding day that speaks to just how unique each story is!
I was born and raised in Colorado, where I received my BA in Fine Art with a Photography Emphasis. After spending a few years on the sunny West Coast, I relocated to Austin with my husband. I couldn’t be happier to be putting down roots in this amazing city, not to mention, be a part of such a thriving wedding community. If I’m not vigorously typing away on my computer, you’ll find me outside, enjoying a large cup of coffee, and taking photos (likely of my dog).
